KISHTWAR , Nov 25: District Congress Committee (DCC) convened a meeting here, today which was chaired by its president, Mohinder Singh Parihar in which various issues confronting the people of the hilly district were discussed.
The meeting was also attended by senior Congress leaders and MLCs, Naresh Kumar Gupta and Sham Lal Bhagat.
Addressing the meeting both Gupta and Bhagat asked Congress activists to visit every nook and corner to ascertain the problems of the people. They urged the administration not to remain mute spectators to basic problems of the people and solve them on priority basis. The meeting was also attended by Shamsher Singh Bhandari a social activist and member Civil Society Kishtwar who returned to party fold few days back. Both MLCs expressed the hope that he will work for strengthening the party in the district.
District Sewa Dal, president, Ravi Kumar Shan , Firdos Mangoo, vice president Municiplity Kishtwar, Noor Hussain Ex Sarpanch, Sanjeev Kotwar Municipal Committee Member, Ward 2, Randeep Bhandari, S S Bhandari, Jatin Manhas, Ajay Sharma and others attended the meeting.
