JAMMU, Mar 19: President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) GA Mir has approved the District Congress Committee for Jammu Rural.
After the appointment of Hari Singh Chib as district president Jammu Rural, the process of constitution of District Congress Committee Jammu Rural has been completed and the same has been cleared by the PCC president. It will further strengthen the party network in view of forthcoming elections.
The new functionaries of the committee are, Suram Singh, Ch Mohan Singh, Ravinder Singh, Kuldeep Raj (Sarpach), Kailash Saini, Deepak Kumar, Nirmal Singh, Bansi Lal and Prem Singh – vice presidents while, Capt Karan Deep Singh, Manoj Sharma, Rohit Manhas, Ms Simple Bhagat, Gulshan Sharma, Subash Chander, Nardeep Singh, Om Prakash, Jung Bahadur, Santosh Singh, Manohar Singh, Ram Saroop, Jung Bahadur Manhas and Rajesh Kumar Sharma- general secretaries.
Jalandhar Singh, Rattan Singh, Rajesh Singh, Surjeet Singh, Ram Kumar, Madan Lal, Sham Mehta, Shahbaj Ahmed, Darshan Motten, Rattan Chand, Madan Lal Sharma and Om Prakash have been inducted as district secretaries while Devi Singh as treasurer.
The members of the executive body are- Ch Shiv Ram, Ranjit Singh, Ms Sakshi Heer, Surinder Singh, Raj Kumar Bhagat, Jagdish Raj Sharma, Sher Singh, Baldev Raj, Nanak Chand Bhagat, Santosh Kumari Bhagat, Khem Raj Bhagat, Kuldeep Raj and others.
