SRINAGAR, Aug 2: Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today honored its J&K achievers of different fields in a function held in Srinagar.
Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar was the chief guest on the occasion. President, Dal Boat, Wali Mohd, was also present on the occasion.
The top performers in different fields including innovations and new business ideas, academics, sports, cultural, social work etc were honoured by Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary.
In Business Ideas and Innovation category, students who developed the Solar Boat and Aryans Shikara App including Danish, Bilal, Asif, Ghulam Muhidin, Ishtiyaq, Rabia, Umar, Subreena, Younis Majeed, Maryam, Riyaz Rasool Khan etc were honoured.
Among the toppers, students who shined in University results in engineering were honoured as B Tech Civil 2nd Year- Muskaan (1st Position), Mehvish (2nd Position), Rabia (3rd Position); In B Tech Civil 3rd year Umair Ayoub (1st position), Abid Rashid (2nd position), Mohd Ayoub Raina (3rd position); in B Tech Civil 4th year Vandina (1st position), Sant Raj (2nd position), Irshad Ul Hassan(3rd position) and in B Tech ME 2nd Year Bilal Ahmad (1st position) and Danish Shafi (2nd position).
Speaking on the occasion, it’s the matter of proud that Valley students are doing well in innovations, academics and sports outside the State. He added that the faculty also played a major role in their achievements. He further appraised Aryans for starting various scholarship schemes for JK students to help the needy and deserving students.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that Aryans is becoming the first choice of J&K students in North India. He said that over 2000 students from various parts of J&K are already studying in Aryans under different courses including B Tech, LEET, LL.B, BA-LLB, MBA, BBA, BCA, B Com, BSc (Agri), GNM, ANM, BEd, MA (Edu), B Pharmacy and D Pharmacy, under various scholarship schemes.
