SAMBA, Mar 18: DIET, Samba organized two days training programme for School Management & Development Committee (SMDC) Members under Rashtriya Madhmik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) for the year 2012-13 at DIET Complex Tarore, Vijaypur, Samba, in two phases from March 18 to March 19 and March 20 to March 21.
The main objective of this training programme is to aware/train the SMDC members about the role and their responsibilities for implementation of Sarvh Shiksha Abhiyan and Rashtriya Madhmik Shiksha Abhiyan.
District Development Commissioner, Samba, Mubarak Singh, who is also Chairman RMSA District Samba inaugurated the work shop and emphasized that these type of workshops/ training programmes should be organized on regular intervals. He highlighted the achievements made in the District under these programmes and impressed upon all officers and the members of PRIs to work in unison and involve the public so as to have larger benefits from these schemes. He stressed for making extra efforts for enrollment of maximum students in Government schools and work with dedication to improve the results of the schools.
He also stressed the need of Remedial Teaching for weak students in extra time and particularly focused on the disadvantage community.
Mohd Javid Principal DIET, Samba apprised about the functioning of the DIET, Samba while Programme Coordinator, Dhananter Singh DEPO/DPC of RMSA spoke about the interventions and their implementations of RMSA in the District.
The programme is being attended by Principals of Govt. Higher Secondary Schools, Headmasters of Govt. High Schools, besides the Sarpanches/Panches of the District.
