POONCH, July 12: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting to review the working of the line departments here at the conference hall of DC office Poonch.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development, CDP, CEO Tourism, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, DSWO, DSEO, DYSSO, Executive Engineer of different departments, AEE’s, AD Planning, AD Food besides all district and sectoral officers.
During the meeting several aspects pertaining to overall socio- economic development were comprehensively discussed. The status of various developmental works was presented by the concerned officers.
The DC directed the District /Sectoral officers to maintain movement registers and also directed for hoisting flags on the office buildings.
Directions were also passed to install a complaint box and board indicating zero tolerance against corruption.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer of PWD and R&B to speed up the tendering of development works at an earliest. He directed the concerned officers to address the grievances of the public and update the list of beneficiaries and works on the website and submit the same to the District Informatics Officer within two days. He asked all the departments to display the list of executive works in their office Sign Board.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed to ramp up the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed well within the stipulated time period.
