KATHUA, Apr 4: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Yadav today administered the oath of office and secrecy to the president and two members of newly constituted District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Kathua.
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department vide Notification dated March 17 this year and S.O.101, had already appointed Mohan Singh Parihar of Kanthi Ramban retired District and Sessions Judge as Commission’s president whereas Durga Dass Sharma of Gurah Jattan Ghagwal Samba and Neelam Bala Bharadwaj of Lakhanpur Kathua as Commission’s two Members, respectively.
It is pertinent to mention here that this Commission has additional jurisdiction of District Samba also vide notification dated 22nd February 2022, S.O. 72, already issued by Government of Jammu and Kashmir Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department.
