JAMMU, Sept 6: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Sindhu Sharma has sought detailed affidavit indicating the number of trees that may be axed for the construction of road in the forest area in Kalakote.
The affidavit was sought in a PIL seeking direction to the respondents not to fell trees in Compartment Numbers 79/K, 122/K, 123/K and 124/K of Kalakote Range in Rajouri Forest Division in the public interest.
