JAMMU, Apr 28: In the much publicized Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Ankur Sharma challenging the vires of J&K State Land (Vesting of ownership to the occupants) Act, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice Janak Raj Kotwal today appointed Advocate Rahul Bharti an amicus curie (court counsel) in view of the importance of the issue having constitutional ramifications.
Division Bench directed the Registry to provide a complete set of paper book to Advocate Rahul Bharti so that he can render proper assistance on the next date of hearing.
