Day 3 of HR Conclave at IIM Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 25: Continuing its flagship event series, the Indian Institute of Management Jammu seamlessly conducted day three of the HR conclave, here today.
The insightful words by Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu: “Management is not to be taught, but it has to be practiced,” set the tone for the discussion.
The topic of discussion for the panel was ‘The HR Imperative – Integrating Human and Technology Environment’, which was moderated by Arun Kaimal, Director HR, Danaher Corporation (Singapore). The panelists for the discussion were Anshul Joshi, Associate Director HR, MSD (Singapore); Priyanka Dixit, Global Talent Acquisition Partner, Johnson & Johnson (USA); Kundan Kumar, Country HR Head, Malaysia & Brunei, GSK (Malaysia); Tina Sharma, Senior Vice President, and Head, Human Resources, SBI (Singapore); Sowmya Velpuri, Talent Manager, Caissa Recruitment (Germany).
The session concluded with some advice from the panel wherein they suggested the students to pursue their hobbies and aspirations. They also put forth the importance of cross-functionality and mindfulness to succeed in the corporate world.
