JAMMU, Nov 9: State Government has extended the last date for filing of VAT returns for the first and second quarter of 2016-17 financial year.
As per the order issued by Navin K Choudhary, Commissioner Secretary to Government, Finance Department, the Government in exercise of powers conferred by proviso to Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 28 of J&K Value Added Tax Rules, 2005, has extended the last date for filing of VAT returns for the first and second quarter of 2016-17.
The last date shall now be 30th of November 2016 and 31st of December 2016 respectively.
