DAP asks Govt to consider package employees demands

JAMMU, Dec 5: The Democratic Azad Party (DAP) leaders, Sanjay Dhar, Piaray Lal Pandita, Rajinder Kilam, Raj Kumar Ticku, Gowher Rashid Wani, Pankaj Langoo, Daizy Dhar and Pinky Koul, in a joint statement have appealed the Government of India, as well as the Lt Governor, JK UT, for immediate consideration of the demands put forth by PM package employees and non- Package employees, who have been protesting for about 200days after the target killings of minorities in the Valley.
The leaders have in one voice requested the Government to take cognizance of the unsafe situation in Valley and assure security to them.
They expressed dismay over the silence of the Government over this grave issue and appealed it to save these employees from political pawns having hollow assurances without any concrete result.
Besides they demanded release of their pending salaries as the employees families are in great distress.
