JAMMU, Sept 6: A one day workshop on competitive coaching classes for IAS/KAS was organized by Central University (CU) of Jammu in collaboration with ASCENT Group today.
The programme was meant for motivating the aspirants desirous of appearing in Civil Services Examination. The workshop was inaugurated by Mohd. Shafi Pandit, former Chairman JKPSC accompanied by KB Jandial, former Member JKPSC, Parvez Ahmad, Chairman and CEO J&K Bank , Devender Singh Rana MLA, Mobeen Masoodi , CEO ASCENT Group, Vijay Kalyan Jha founder Director Education Solutions Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, Prof. Lokesh K Verma Academic Coordinator, Central University of Jammu and Dr. D.L. Choudhary, convener Coaching Cell, Central University of Jammu.
Mohd. Shafi Pandit in his address highlighted his own experiences of becoming first IAS Officer of J&K State. He asked the participants not to stop and carry on with the objective to achieve the goal of passing out IAS/KAS examinations.
In his address, Parvez Ahmad, Chiarman and CEO of J&K Bank talked about his story of success by the dint of hardwork. He also threw light on the struggle he has faced to make a way out of success and asked the students to face the challenges with equal response for achieving the targets of their life.
K.B. Jandial former Member JKPSC in his address threw light on the various stages of achieving success in the competitive examination. He gave his own examples by sharing experiences with the students to scale new heights in the field of competition.
Devender Singh Rana, MLA delivered a thought provoking lecture for motivating the students to go for IAS/KAS. Rana talked about the journey one should take and go on walking without any halt and stoppage. It was a enlightening lecture delivered by Rana which was appreciated by one and all amongst the participants.
At the outset of the program, Mobeen Masoodi, CEO Ascent Group put forth his introductory remarks on the success story of ASCENT. Masoodi laid stress on the theory of hard work in qualifying competitive examinations.
At the outset, Prof. Lokesh K Verrma Academic Coordinator Central University of Jammu delivered the welcome address and talked about the achievements of Central University of Jammu in all fields of the education. Prof. Verma in his welcome address talked about the dynamic leadership of the Vice-Chancellor under whose guidance the University scaled new heights.
At the end, Dr. D.L. Choudhary, convener Coaching Cell presented formal vote of thanks. The whole program was anchored by Akanksha and Eisha.
