JAMMU, Mar 11: Two-day course on “Leadership, Management and Motivation”, at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur, concluded today.
Twenty Officers of the rank of Inspector to SP, nominated by PHQ, participated in the course, which was aimed to make aware and potentialize the Police officers accordingly by thrashing out all the core issues related to the effective leadership, theories that enhance human motivation, satisfaction and performance in the achievement of organizational goals.
The inaugural session was started by Dr Jaya Bhasin, Assistant Professor, HRM & OB Deptt Central University, Jammu who delivered a valuable lecture to participants. Apart from that the other guest speakers who visited the Academy and delivered lectures were Prof Ashok Aima, Director cum Head HRM & OB Deptt, Central University of Jammu, Dr Mahesh Koul, Faculty School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Jammu University and Anil Sharma, District Information officer Udhampur.
The valedictory moments were given away by Danesh Rana, Director SKPA while vote of thanks was delivered by Ravinder Rao, Dy Director Prosecution SKPA Udhampur. Anil Gandotra, Sr Prosecution Officer and Arun Kotwal, Inspector were course co-ordinator and course secretary, respectively of this course.
