Councilor dedicates newly constructed lane

UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Municipal Council Udhampur (MCU), Councillor Vikram Singh Slathia today dedicated the newly constructed lane in Ward number 6.
This lane from the house of Hari Bhagat Gudda to Gole Pulli, has been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 3.73 lakhs under “My Town My Pride Programme”. The lane was inaugurated by ADDC Udhampur, Kanta Devi, in presence of CEO, Municipal Council Udhampur, Amit Choudhary.
Speaking on the occasion, Slathia assured his ward residents that he would leave no stone unturned for the development of the area and to make his ward, best in the town. Dustbins were also distributed among the residents and the Councillor urged people to segregate waste, avoid using single use plastics, polythenes in their routine work and cooperate to keep the city clean.
Locals, present on the occasion, included Ram Kishore, Ramesh Gudda, Sham Lal, Kewal Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Pradeep Singh, Omkar Singh and others.
