JAMMU, Sept 22: Komal Kumar Jain, Chairman Duke Fashions (India) Ltd along with his wife, Kanchan Jain were honoured with memento and coffee table book by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jairam Thakur.
Education Minister, Suresh Bhardwaj; Urban Development Minister, Sarveen Chaudhary; Health Minister, Vipin Singh Parmar; Forest Minister, Govind Singh Thakur, former Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha, Brij Bihari Lal Butail and Chief Secretary, Dr. Shrikant Baldi were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Chairman Duke said, he felt honoured to achieve the memento and expressed his gratitude to the people who really meant for this award. “This is yet another pivotal milestone in Duke Fashions’ history. This is a testimony to the hard work of our dedicated and committed workforce, who has been the biggest contributors for us being recognized as the most trusted company in India,” he maintained.
He also shared that business strategy; vision and innovation are the principal pillars on which their forward-thinking corporate policy is founded.
Addressing the event, the Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur said that textiles sector is playing a pivotal role in the economy and it needs to be recognised and respected by all.
He recognised the services of the people who have made a mark in different fields by overcoming all the hurdles and hardships.
