NEW DELHI, May 1:
The Congress today condemned the Pakistan Foreign Ministry’s statement against the Centre’s move of resettlement of the ousted Kashmiri Pundits in the Valley and said such type of comments should be dismissed and ignored totally.
“I do not think we should pay attention to such people and such things”, party spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvis said here this morning.
Addressing reporters, Mr Singhvi said, “I don’t think that India should dignify such remarks about Kashmir with repeated attention”.
The Pakistan Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson had yesterday said in a statement that resettling thousands of Hindus in new townships in ‘disputed region of Kashmir is violation of the UN resolution”. The statement has been criticised widely in the country as an attempt to interfere in India’s internal affairs”. (UNI)
