JAMMU, May 1: Representing Indian team comprising of Mahak Jain and Shivani Ameneni, Prinkle Singh of Jammu and Kashmir kept the State’s flag high by defeating Australia in World Junior Tennis qualifying matches in quarterfinal knockout system at Thailand.
In earlier matches, India beat Kazakistan and Kyrgystan by (3-0) each.
India is now among the four teams including Japan, New Zealand and China, who have qualified for the World Tour to be held at Prstjoy, Czech Republic in the month of August 2015.
