Cong misleading famers on bills: Pawan Khajuria

UDHAMPUR, Oct 9: Taking a dig at Congress, BJP vice president J&K Pawan Khajuria accused it of misleading the farmers of the country on Farm Bills.
Addressing the farmers meetings at various places in Mandal Panchayat of Udhampur district today, Khajuria took serious exception to setting the tractor on fire by the activists of Congress recently. He said in Indian culture and traditions people worship all the equipments used for cultivation. Even the land and crop is also being worshiped by the farmers for a good harvest but it is unfortunate that Congress for its vested interests is misguiding the farmers.
He said Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh who represents Kathua, Udhampur, Doda parliamentary seat through virtual meetings at different places in the Parliamentary constituency apprised the farmers about the benefits of the Bills. He said the bills have totally protected the rights of farmers and no interference has been made in Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Khajuria, while cautioning the farmers about the Congress party leaders who are misguiding them on farm bills said that under the new law farmers can sell their produce at any market in the country where they get the maximum price as there will be no role of middlemen and agents who were taking he maximum benefit of farmers earnings. The new law has empowered farmers to make them self reliant, he said and appealed them to have full faith in the PM, Modi who is well wisher of farmers, poor people and working class.
Khajuria, while taking Congress leadership to task said hardly there will be any farmer in India who sets the tools and machinery used for farming on fire.
On the occasion the farmers alleged that Congress is spreading canards about the bills and misleading them. They said they have full faith in the leadership of PM Modi who made many policies for welfare of common masses of the country since 2014 and more policies are under way for the welfare of the nation and its people, they added.
District vice president, BJP, Vikas Sharma, ex Sarpanch, Pawan Sharma, Milkhi Ram, Panch Puran, Nanat Ram, Satish Jandial, Rahul Gupta, Sham Lal, Nikhil Verma, Guru Dayal, Manohar Singh and many others were present.
