JAMMU, Jan 24: All India Confederation of SC, ST and OBC Organisations along with National Student and Youth Front (NSYF) here today organized a virtual rally to address the issues of J&K youth.
The rally was flagged off by Dr Udit Raj, National Chairperson Confederation from New Delhi via online platform while in J&K it was hosted by Dr Sameer Choudhary, President NSYF and presided over by R.K Kalsotra, J&K Confederation President.
The rally witnessed large participation especially that of youth.
Speaking on the occasion Udit Raj said that Government is adamant about privatization.
“This would shrink the scope of reservation, which would directly affect the youth of the nation,” he further said highlighting that in order to curb the menace of privatization, the youth should come forth to safeguard their rights and fight against any form of injustice prevailing in the society.
Dr Sameer Choudhary said, it is need of the hour that the Government pay heed to the youth and student affairs.
Various slogans were raised by the participants in the rally in support of their demands like special recruitment drive, fee structure according to Central rules etc.
Speaking on the occasion R.K Kalsotra claimed that a memorandum of demands was submitted to J&K LG which awaits response.
