JAMMU, Oct 12: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) has expressed concern over delay in supply of ration especially quota of sugar on the CAPD depots in camps.
In its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Desh Rattan, president AMCCC, it alleged that for last five months no quota of sugar was supplied to migrants and the demand was not considered even in festival season.
The meeting reiterated the demands regarding enhancement of cash relief and soft loans to over aged migrant youth to set up their own business establishments and construction of more shopping complexes in camps. The meeting also inducted M L Munshi in the Executive Committee of AMCCC.
R N Pandita, R N Dhar, Ashok Kumar, Deepji, Satish Ji, KV and others attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Migrant Cell of Samajwadi Party president Inderji Labroo urged the Government to solve the demands of Jagti inmates and ensure proper power and water supply, speeding up work on hospital and construction of shopping complex besides posting of teachers and lecturers in Jagti schools to overcome the shortage.
