Cleanliness drive in Rajouri

This to draw the attention of the concerned authorities that some internal roads of Rajouri town have suffered much damage during the recent rains in the area. These roads have become traffic unworthy and cause lot of inconvenience to the residents of the area.
Besides, the town needs a face lift as garbage dumps have erupted here and there in the area. These dumps have become a source of nuisance for the passers-by and the people living in the vicinity. The matter had been highlighted a number of times before the concerned authorities but nothing has been done so far.
It is again requested that a cleanliness drive be launched in the area so that people may live in a pollution free environment.

Dandiyal road in shambles
We the residents of Dandiyal Udhampur and the inhabitants living along the CEO office road want to inform the authorities concerned i.e (R&B) and the PMGSY that this road has virtually turned into a horrific nallah and has made the life of the residents a hell. The area despite being too closer to the main Udhampur town is not getting proper attention from the authorities concerned. The infirm, old and school going children have to bear maximum brunt. Our sincere request may please be given a patient hearing and redressal of our genuine grievance be done at the earliest so that we may get out of this agony and pain for good.

Unhygienic conditions in
Secretariat bathrooms
During my tenure as Superintending Engineer and Chief Engineer w.e.f 2013-2018 I visited Secretariat, so may times. Each time I noticed that there was no soap in any bathroom. The result is that all persons who-so-that be have been to these both rooms, have dirty hands since no soap is there. I complained it to Director Estates, but only to be ashamed. Finally I started taking paper soap with me. But what about hands of others, who occasionally shake hands.
Once I told to Secretary, PHE/I&FC Department, but only felt ashamed. He could do nothing.
Due to relevation through RTI dated 09-08-2018 I came to know that too much soap is given for this purpose, it might be only on papers or some one takes this soap to his own home.
Director Estates is requested to personally visit these bath rooms twice every weak and ensure that soap is kept in bath rooms.

Repair lanes at Shiv Nagar
This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the bad condition of lanes at Lower Shiv Nagar. These lanes have suffered much damage during the recent rains and are great cause of inconvenience to the residents of the area. Motorists suffer immense damage to their vehicles almost on daily basis.
It may be mentioned here that no repairs have been carried out in the lanes for the last several years.
We request the JMC authorities to look into the matter at the earliest.
