Chib accorded impressive reception at Suchetgarh

R S Pura, Nov 7: Former Minister and senior Congress leader R S Chib, who was declared party candidate from border constituency of Suchetgarh, was accorded an impressive reception by the party workers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and other people of the area today.
Mr Chib along with other candidates was declared as party candidate by the Central Election Committee of the Congress party last night. He along with several party leaders reached his Suchetgarh constituency where a large number of workers and other people gave him a warm reception.
While Addressing huge gathering at Satrayan, Mr Chib extended gratitude to AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Incharge J&K of the Party Ambika Soni, Ghulam Nabi Azad and PCC chief Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz for providing him an opportunity to serve the people of this border constituency. Mr Chib said that he was fully aware and associated with the problems of this constituency for the last about three decades and will not leave any stone unturned to ensure development of this area.
Mr Chib said that people of this belt have suffered a lot due to India Pak wars and border firing. He claimed that Congress Party always stood with them in the hours of difficulty and grief. He also made mention of the problems of Dalits, OBCs and weaker sections of the society and claimed that he would watch their interests if elected. Mr Chib appealed the party men and others to defeat the communal and divisive forces unitedly and strengthen the secular agenda of the Congress Party.
Several other party leaders and Sarpanchs also spoke on the occasion and appealed the people to support R S Chib.
