JAMMU, Dec 28: Chairman Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali, today reviewed the preparations for the Budget Session starting January 18 in a meeting with civil and police administration.
Haji Anayat Ali discussed the traffic plan and necessary security arrangements needed to ensure smooth conduct of the session.
The Chairman also discussed preparations with respect to the printing of questions, replies and other documents.
Facilities for press and electronic media coverage of the Budget Session were also reviewed in the meeting besides other issues.
Chairman gave necessary instructions to the officers to ensure all arrangements are put in place and complete synergy between various departments and Council Secretariat is maintained before and during the Session.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council Jehangir Hussain Mir, Director General of Police K Rajindra Kumar, Director General Information, Zaffar Ahmad, Secretary Legislative Council Abdul Majid Bhat, GM Government Press Jammu, Vipan Kumar and other senior officers.
