JAMMU, Dec 28: District Jammu Boxing Championship, organized by J&K Boxing Association concluded here today.
S Rangil Singh, president J&K Olympic Association was the chief guest, who gave medals and trophies to the winners, while Ashutosh Sharma, Chairman Affiliation Committee Indian Olympic Association was the guest of honour.
About 70 boxers participated in the Championship, out of which 34 boxers drawn from Srinagar, Leh, Kargil, Poonch, Jammu and Kathua qualified for the State Championship to be held later.
The gold medal winners in various groups and categories included Palvi Sharma, Arti Bajyal, Sulekha Devi, Maan Singh, Vasik Tabib, Kamal Shama, Arif Wani, Aditya Naryan, Harshdev Singh, Ankush Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Goutam Sharma, Sunny Kumar, Vinod Bharadwaj, Chander Dev Singh, Vishal Singh and Ankush Kumar.
