CE clarifies

JAMMU, May 31:  Chief Engineer Mughal Road Project,  Bimal Tiku has claimed that Mughal Road project has not been delayed or jumped deadlines and the reports appearing in the section of press regarding delay were not factual.
While clarifying a report appearing in this paper on May 13, regarding delay on completion of road by five years,
Mr Tiku claimed that inspite of various constraints / factor like hostile weather, limited working season, security scenario, summer turmoils of  2008, 2009 and 2010, the completion of Mughal Road has not `much delayed’.     Giving reference of  a fresh directive from the Union Ministry of  Road Transport  and Highways, the Chief Engineer claimed that March 31, 2013 was the target given to the agency for completion. It is pertinent to mention here that the work on this project was commenced in 2005.
