CCI resents concessions for online shopping

JAMMU, Sept 4: Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Jammu has expressed resentment over the concessions being provided by the Government for the e-commerce and online shopping sector and not imposing entry tax on purchases less than Rs 5000.
In a meeting of the CCI members held here today in presence of representatives from various trade bodies, CCI president Rakesh Gupta and secretary general Arun Gupta took strong view of this development. They decided to exert pressure on the Government seeking imposition of tax  for the on-line shopping as well for providing fair chance to the trading community of the region.
