KATHUA, Apr 2: Ten persons were injured when the bus they were traveling in skidded off the road and turned turtle near Nagri, Fruty Morh, this morning.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02E-2789 was on its way to Bambyal to Pathankot via Kathua, when the driver lost control over the steering resulting the vehicle turned turtle near Nagri, Fruty More.
On getting information, police team from Kathua Police Station and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured were rushed to Government Hospital, Kathua for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Nimo (60), Ritu (26), Rama (55), Maninder (45), Soma Devi (78), Shabo, (50) Santosh (55), Anjana (34), Kala (50), all residents of Punjab and Koushalaya Devi,(Kathua).
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kathua Police Station and manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding driver.
