Srinagar Dec 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank Branch Kralgund-Qaziabad in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district today lodged a complaint with the Police that an abortive attempt was made to loot the bank.
Burglars barged into the bank through a window of a bathroom and after several attempts they failed to open the strong room of the bank, where the money and important documents were stored. They used gas burner to open the strong room. Police is investigating the matter.
