SAMBA, Apr 9: The 80th battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) organised a blood donation camp at Battalion headquarters here today.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by CO, BSF, 80 Bn, Happy Verma along with Rachna Verma. During the camp, many other officials of BSF were present on the occasion.
Large number of BSF jawans took part in this camp and they donate the blood with the great enthusiasm. The camp was organised in collaboration with SMGS Hospital, Jammu in which 55 jawans donated blood.
While addressing, the CO said that this types of initiatives have always taken up by BSF which included medical camps, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, open recruitment and many other initiatives to make a good communication between BSF and civilians.
The camp was held under the supervision of Dr Rubina, Incharge Blood Bank SMGS Hospital Jammu and was assisted by her Medical staff.
