Naqash urges Anganwadi workers to call off strike

JAMMU, Apr 9: Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development, Social Welfare, Health & Medical Education, Asiea Naqash today appealed Anganwadi workers to call off their strike and assured that their genuine demands will be addressed at earliest.
She said this while speaking to a deputation of Anganwadi workers and Helpers Union Jammu and Kashmir who called on the Minister today. The Minister said it is the endeavor of the Government to work for the betterment of employees besides taking various measures to fulfill their genuine demands.
During the meeting, the deputation apprised the Minister about several issues being faced by them while rendering their duties on ground and appealed for early redressal of their genuine demands at an earliest.
While assuring the deputation that their genuine demands will be looked into, she appealed them to resume their work.
