JAMMU, Mar 9: A 17-year-old boy allegedly made an abortive attempt on his life this evening by trying to cut his neck with a sharp edged weapon.
According to a police spokesman, the blood ridden boy identified as Chitranjan Kumar son of Surinder Kumar, a resident of RS Pura, was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, where his condition was stated to be serious.
The spokesman said that the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter but could not record the statement of the youth, as he was not fit for statement.
