RAJOURI, Dec 22: A 6-year-old village boy was seriously injured after he was attacked by a leopard in Kandi area of district Rajouri this evening.
The mishap took place at around 5.30 pm when the boy namely Mohd Irfan resident of Badaal village was going to a shop at Mukka Galla along with his father. The boy was following his father on foot along the hilly track through forest. Suddenly, a leopard ambushed the minor boy. His father rushed for the rescue and fought with the wild beast. The leopard however, escaped leaving behind injured boy. He was removed to Kotranka Hospital and later shifed to District Hospital, Rajouri.
