JAMMU, June 26: A young boy drowned today in Tawi river in Belicharana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, Paras Mehra (19) son of Suresh Kumar, resident of Kashmiri Basti (Raipur), drowned in Tawi river this afternoon, when he along with his others friends was taking a bath in the river to beat the scorching heat.
The body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
