JAMMU, Feb 18: Border Police Post (BPP) Agra Chak foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 6 cattle and arresting one person.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from BPP Agra Chak laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued 6 cattle from the vehicle and arrested one person, who has been identified as Bhag Hussain, son of Alaf Din of Purana Pind RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 28/2020 under section 188 IPC and 3/4 PCA Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
Police team made the arrest under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Jai Pal Sharma and SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan.
