Bovines smuggling bid foiled

JAMMU, Sept 25: Khour Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Khour led by SHO Inspector Rattan Singh Rana under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle without registration number vehicle.
During checking, police team rescued 4 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested one person, who was identified as Zakir Hussian (co-driver), son of Swar Din of District Ramban, at present Kot Ghari.
A case under FIR Number 73/2022 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
