REASI, Dec 11: Police today arrested a bootlegger and seized 37 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A Police party led by Incharge SHO Reasi, Sub Inspector Ved Parkash, conducted special patrolling at Bus Stand Reasi and apprehended one person Jambal Nath of village Sarote Kote in Bhomag. 37 poly pouches, measuring 250/250 ml each of J&K Excise Liquor, were recovered from his possession.
In this connection a case FIR No.137/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi against the accused person.
