UDHAMPUR, Nov 24: Continuing the drive against illegal sale of liquor, Udhampur Police today arrested one bootlegger namely Romesh Chand of Barta and seized 43 bottles of liquor from his possession.
Based on a reliable information, a Police party from PP Roun, led by Sub-Inspector Suresh Goutam, intercepted Romesh Chand at Barta and recovered the liquor bottles, which, were being smuggled by the accused for illegal sale.
In this connection, a case under Section 48A Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Udhampur.
