BLSKS presents Dogri musical concert ‘Nashe Kola Bacho’

JAMMU, Nov 27: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today in coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare Department and Sangam Tru Art Production staged Dogri musical concert ‘Nashe Kola Bacho’ on the theme of ‘drug abuse’.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department.
Among guests of honour were V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity and Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, Registrar SMGS Hospital Shalamar while R.P Amla assisted the concert.
Special items prepared on the theme were ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, ‘Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho’, ‘Nai Pee Shraban’, Nukkad, skits, songs and dances.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest highlighted the dangers of drug use and their illegal trade.
Apart from this the artist of BLSKS also presented a Pahari song written by M.L Dogra.
Earlier in welcome address M.L Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS appealed audience especially children to be the eyes and ears of the nation and pledged to put maximum efforts to make J&K free from the menace of drug addiction.
Anju Dogra in her address stressed for extracting the maximum attention of masses especially addicted population who suffered from the use of tobacco and tobacco products, alcohol etc.
Artists who participated in the concert were Usha Handoo, K.K Joshi, M.C Kotwal, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Bindia Arora, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Chahat Chadha, Kanchan, Gouri Lal and others.
