Blood donation camp held at Katra

JAMMU, Sept 30: Sant Nirankari Mandal in collaboration with Blood and Transfusion Department of Government Medical College and Indian Red Cross Society organized 8th Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Government Higher Secondary School, Katra in the memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj.
The camp was inaugurated by Yougal Kishore Sharma, MLC. While speaking he assured his full co-operation to Sant Nirankari Mission.
Ram Mehta, Anil K Padha, Regional Secretary, Red Cross Society, Dr Gopal Dutt, BMO Sub-District Hospital Katra, Dr Meena Sidhu Blood and Transfusion Department GMC and Rakesh Wazir, president, Hotel Association Katra, were also present.
Ajit Singh , zonal incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal, presided over the Satsang, in which he said that the first thing man needs is the realization of God. All saints, gurus and prophets have described it as the most essential part, the most important objective of human life. They lived spiritually and laid the path for similar living for others.
