JAMMU, May 19: A deputation of Ward-53, Trikuta Nagar, Sector 2 and 3, led by PDP leader Amrik Singh Reen met the Minister for Works, Abdul Rehman Veeri and alleged total neglect of their area in the matter of development.
The demands included black-topping and immediate repair of roads. The Minister listened to the deputation with patience and assured that the Chief Minister too has issued direction in this regard that works of development be taken up on priority without any further delay.
Others present on the occasion included Ms Surjeet Kour, Ranbir Singh Manga Advocate Mohd Adnan Malik, B S Puri, Varinder Singh (Sonu) and Sunil Tangotra.
