RAJOURI, June 11: JAMMU, June 11: BJP general secretary, Vibodh Gupta today exuded confidence that his party will form the Government in J&K UT after the Assembly elections. Talking to media persons here, today he said transparency in selection process under new recruitment rules will benefit the aspiring youth.
Speaking on SRO 202, Gupta said that BJP advocated for its review and the party has been continuously pressing LG, Girish Chandra Murmu to bring much-needed modifications in it in the interest of the youth. He said, ”I have always raised these issues in the Upper House and will continue the fight against it.”
Welcoming the decision of no interviews for Level IV jobs, Gupta said that it will bring transparency in the selection process which will benefit the aspiring youth in J&K. “The Centre will take every step required for the bright future of J&K and its youth”, he added.
He said that the new guideline issued by the J&K administration regarding termination of district cadre post is a progressive step.
Gupta said that in the special recruitment policy, 10 points reserved for the candidates from the same district and five points for the candidates from the same division will be a perk for local candidates.
While making attack on opposition parties, Gupta said that they are attempting to misguide and misinform people of UT on new recruitment rules and Domicile laws. He urged them to contribute for building New J&K instead of instilling confusion. The entire UT has to come together and work for Jammu, Kashmir —every village has to be developed,” he said.
