RAJOURI, June 11: The completion of first year of Modi Government IInd is all about keeping the promises made with vision document of BJP which is about 3Cs i.e, conviction, courage and commitment.
This was stated by former Minister and senior BJP leader, Priya Sethi while highlighting achievements of Modi Government 2.0 for completion its first year at the Centre during her visit to Sunderbani in Rajouri district today. Captain (Retd) Bal Krishan, district president, Sunderbani-Nowshera, Captain (Retd) Som Nath and Cap (retd) Ramesh Jee accompanied the former Minister.
She said that at first instance it was the welfare schemes which got implemented at the grass root level by direct transfer benefits. She added that the historical decision of abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, construction of Shri Ram Mandir were the two most important promises which BJP had made in its manifesto and were fulfilled by Modi led Government.
Lambasting Congress, Priya Sethi said that the party has used Article 370 for abusing the Constitution of India but the BJP has used Article 370 for honouring the Constitution of India. “Congress used it to appease their own people but BJP did it to appease the people of Jammu and Kashmir to integrate the Kashmir with India’’, she added.
Priya Sethi said that no other Government except BJP had the courage to give the fundamental rights to West Pakistan refugees, Valmiki Samaj and a dignified value to the daughters of the newly created UT.
She also highlighted the pro farmers decision on doubling their income and depositing money in their accounts to met out the losses suffered by them.
Priya said that recently the UT Government has abolished the interview for the lower and non-gazetted posts to end malpractices in recruitment process. She said that the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Bench of the UTs of J&K and Ladkah has been few days back established at Jammu for the benefit of the employees.
She said that historical steps like One Nation One Tax, One Nation One Ration Card, Affordable Rental Housing Scheme, One Rank One Pension, appointment of Chief of Defence Staff, Ayushman Bharat, Gareeb Kalyan Yojna, MSME package, special package for farmers, etc were taken for the benefit of the masses.
Priya Sethi has also complemented Jugal Kishore, Member Parliament for carrying out massive development in the Jammu Poonch Constituency. She said establishment of AIIMS, IIT, IIM, bridges, hydroelectric projects, sanctioning of Medical Colleges, expansion of Jammu Airport and many more are the achievements of MP.
