BJP rule brought only miseries to common man: Tony

JAMMU, Sept 29: DDC member, Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has accused the BJP Government of bringing immense miseries to the common people by making hollow promises and doing nothing on ground.
He stated this during a function in village Sher-e-Chak of Talarh Panchayat in Suchetgarh where many people joined his bandwagon.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch Tilak Raj said Tony has transformed the border village by performing long pending works like upgrading of transformers, blacktopping of roads, making defunct tube wells functional which were lying defunct for the last six to seven years.
DDC member TS Tony, while addressing the gathering, said that seven years of BJP rule at the Centre has only resulted in destruction of economy, jobs, employment besides highest inflation ever since Independence be it the prices of edible oil, petrol, diesel, cooking gas or other essential items for a human being.
Labeling the BJP as East India Company ruling the country in such a way that everything has become out of reach the common man, the DDC member said that people are suffering due to hollow policies of BJP led Government at the Centre. He questioned the BJP leaders about the promised five Marla plots to the border dwellers which have not yet seen light of the day.
Tony, while welcoming the new members on their joining, said that the movement launched by him for welfare of the people of this border belt would get further strengthened in the coming time.   Meanwhile, he assured the youth of the area of making all possible efforts to address their issues especially pertaining to basic amenities on priority.
Naib Sarpanch Chakroi Lower Roshan Lal Bhagat, Sarpanch Shashi Bhagat, Sarpanch Sarfo Devi Panchayat Mule Chak, Sarpanch Chakroi Upper, Sham Lal Bhagat, Sarpanch Faithpur Brahamana Rajesh Khanna and Panch Baldev, who were present on the occasion.
Tony however complimented the Government for accepting the long pending demand of developing Suchetgarh on the pattern of Wagah border.
