RAMBAN, Dec 28: With a motive to highlight the achievements of the coalition Governments in the State and at the centre, two massive “Vikas Sushashan Sankalap Rallies” were held at Banihal and Ukhral, which were addressed by Minister of State, PWD, Sunil Sharma, BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and local senior leaders.
Sunil Sharma, while addressing these rallies, said that with the formation of Narendra Modi government at the Centre, a number of projects have been launched for the overall development and welfare of the people across the country. “Beti Bachao, Beti Padao programme, Sukanya Smridhi Project, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Make in India Project, Compensation for natural calamities, Security of Women, Pradhan Mantri Mudhra Yojana, are some of the promising schemes launched during the one year tenure of Narendra Modi”, he said.
Similarly, the PDP-BJP coalition in the State too have been working towards mitigating the sufferings of the people. “Our coalition has developed work culture in the administration, not a single case of corruption has been noticed and an era of development has started”, Sunil said and added that the opposition parties cannot digest the popularity of the present government and hence their leaders are indulging in false and misleading propaganda. He said that road and rail connectivity projects are being executed at very high pace, illegally occupied land is retrieved and developmental activities are visible on ground.
Ashok Kaul said that while our ministers in the coalition are working towards fulfilling the poll promises, MLAs and MLCs are also putting their best efforts to ensure that the people in their respective areas are not made to suffer anymore and they get the basic facilities at their door steps. For the first time, Jammu is getting its due share and AIIMS, IIT, IIM, IHM are the few such projects which are the gift to Jammuites by Modi-led Government. “Amnesty scheme in power sector in J&K, artificial lake, tourist spots development, Food Security Act, concern for VDCs, speak of the seriousness on part of State Government to ensure development and welfare”, he said.
These rallies were also addressed by Ramban district president Ramesh Kumar, Saleem Ahmed, Narad Singh, Master Rabnir Singh, Hamid Khan, Raja Riaz, Shakeel Ahmed, Tariq Ahmed Khan and others.
