JAMMU, Apr 23: BJP district president Rural Jammu and ex Corporator Omi Khajuria expressed his concern over the water scarcity in the localities of Barnai, Darmal, Deena Nagar, Anuradha Puram Sector One and Two and other areas.
In a statement issued here today Khajuria said for last four days water supply in the area was hit after the break down of the motor and the PHE authorities failed to restore the same putting the people to many hardships.
He said that low capacity motor has been installed in the area which can’t bear the load and develops snag often. He warned agitation in case the authorities fail to restore the water supply and sought immediate intervention of Minister of PHE, Irrigation and FC Sham Choudhary in the matter.
