Attendance register of ITI Mendhar missing

MENDHAR, Apr 23: The attendance register of contractual staff of Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Mendhar, is alleged to have gone missing after the suspension of 10 employees by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thakur Sher Sing on April 19.
The contractual employees’ attendance register disappeared after the suspension of 10 employees of the institute for being absent from duty by SDM, Mendhar, Thakur Sher Singh. A few months ago also, the attendance register had gone missing after the suspension of some employees.
ITI’s incharge superintendent Fazal Hussain Khan said he had brought the matter to the notice of higher authorities.
The SDM, taking a serious note of the development, had ordered SDPO Shahid Naeem to lodge FIR against the accused.
Meanwhile, Mendhar Youth Club President M S Nazki has urged the Director Technical Education, Jammu, to take cognizance of the matter and initiate an inquiry into it.
