JAMMU, Feb 1: To reach out to maximum population and get their support in the general election of 2014, BJP’s IT Cell today introduced one more innovative concept of social media by launching “Volunteer for Mission 272+” which was inaugurated by party State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with leader of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria, National Executive Member & State Chief Spokesperson Dr. Jitendra Singh, State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul and other leaders at Party Headquarters here.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while applauding the efforts of State IT Cell and its Convenor Jaidev Rajwal, for introducing this concept here on the pattern adopted at party hqrs. New Delhi, said that the party activists will now be having an additional means of contacting the supporters of BJP residing anywhere. Through “Volunteer for Mission 272+” campaign, anyone who want to register himself as a friend of Narendra Modi can give missed call on 08030636371 and will be automatically registered as volunteer. One can also join / register by logging in www.jkbjp.in Whoever avails this service, his/her data will be compiled and maintained at the website and thus helping and enabling them to be in direct touch with the party.
He said that the party has already been using different modes of communication across the country to reach its well-wishers and supporters and to channelize their support and votes to achieve the goal of seeing Narendra Modi as next Prime Minister. “For it, we have set a target of 272+ seats in the Parliament and the party has been working round the clock to reach every voter through different means’’, he added.
BJP IT Cell State Convenor Jaidev Rajwal, gave a live presentation of the this new service with the assistance of his colleagues namely Masood Tariq and Ajay Kumar.
He also briefed the party activists about its significance and the resultant benefits which will be gained by the party in the forthcoming general elections and announced that the first meeting of the newly registered volunteers is being organized on February 4 at party headquarters at Jammu.
