JAMMU, Apr 15: To take stock of the activities and programmes of the BJP cells, a meeting of their state conveners was held in Party Headquarters. Here today under the chairmanship of state president of the Party, Jugal Kishore Sharma (MLA).
State general secretaries Ashok Koul and Bali Bhagat and Cells Incharge Sat Sharma (C.A) were also present in this meeting, which was held to formulate a appropriate strategy to meet the forthcoming challenges and elections to various local bodies as also to ensure synchronized political activities with the main Party.
Sat Sharma (C.A) gave a full report about the activities of the cells and the progress made by them in constituting their respective bodies.  He also delineated programme of future activities.
Ashok Koul while interacting with cell convenors said that without an organizational frame work cell conveners can not be effective in their Party activities and hence state and district level cell bodies must be constituted at the earliest. He further added that appropriate feedback from the cell conveners to the Party is a must.
He urged them to inform the party about the needs, aspirations and hardships faced by their targeted segment of the society so as to help the party to craft a effective and robust action programme for their benefit. Without a grass-root level organizational setup nothing worthwhile can be achieved as the setup acts as eyes and ears of the party, he added.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, said that in this state because of its geographical and demographic uniqueness coupled with armed activities of anti-national elements special duty and onus is cast on BJP. The Party can never lower its guard for power as is being done routinely by other parties.
He said BJP cannot and will not brook any compromise or softness towards anti-national forces. It is the duty of every party worker to treat party’s work as a sacred duty towards a strong nation building. He said that the cells must endeavour to reach their targeted segment of the society and get them associated with the party.
