‘BJP failed to develop Tawi front on Sabarmati pattern’

JAMMU, Jan 29: Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray J&K unit has urged upon the Governor, Satya Pal Malik to take steps for early completion of much awaited Tawi river front project on the pattern of Sabarmati river.
Shiv Sena State President, Dimpy Kohli here today told reporters that the development of 4.50 km stretch of Tawi river front along the lines of Sabarmati river seems to be a cruel joke by BJP with Jammu people.
“In the year 2015 the PDP-BJP coalition Government mooted the plan of developing the Tawi front on the lines of River Sabarmati. A team was also deputed to study how the Sabarmati river development corporation was functioning and maintaining the cleanliness and recreational aspect of the enterprise. But after remaining in power for three and half years nothing has been done to accomplish the project for the welfare of Jammu traders who are suffering due to callous attitude of previous BJP Government,” Kohli said.
Vipin Hindu, Shiv Sena Chairman, Manish Sahni, General Secretary, Ashwani Gupta, Senior Vice President and others were also present.
