JAMMU, Jan 16: To discuss the burning issues of Kashmiri Pandit Community, an impressive meeting of the executive members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Displaced Kashmir Unit was held under the chairmanship of its president, T N Bhat at Sarwal Office, here today.
Senior BJP leader Moti Kaul also attended the meeting apart from the executive members.
The leadership assured the members of solving all the burning issues of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, T N Bhat, president of the Unit said that the Kashmiri Pandit Community is going through a very crucial phase at this moment in exile and it is our paramount duty to consolidate rank and file of the community when every attempt is being made to destabilize the socio political and economic interests of the KP Community and stressed for its stabilization.
While referring to the delay in the interviews of KP youth, Mr Bhat said that it was not the deferment of the interviews that they had requested for, but conducting of interviews at Jammu keeping in view the huge financial burden being thrusted upon the already economically shattered Displaced Community.
Taking a dig at the Relief Organization, general secretary of the Unit, Virender Kuchroo said that the Organization is a den of corruption and is lethargic in solving the problems with regard to bifurcation of ration cards, medical supply to migrant dispensaries, late and sub standard ration to ration depots at migrant camps.
He appealed the authorities to look into the matter and make an end to these burning issues.
